Sangam S. Sisodia, PhD, is the Thomas A. Reynolds Sr. Family Professor of Neurobiology and Professor of Neurology at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on examining the cellular and molecular biology of molecules that are mutated in pedigrees with autosomal dominant, familial forms of Alzheimer's disease, and include the development of animal models that have been informative to examine Abeta amyloidosis, neurogenesis, exercise and enrichment, and the gut microbiome
