Husi Cázares grew up in Arizona in small villages on the Tohono O'odham Reservation. He holds a M.A. in Native American Studies from the University of Arizona. He has taught his tribes culture, language and History. Husi received his second M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and currently he works as a tri-lingual speech language pathologist in southern Arizona and remains active in language preservation within his tribe.
