Coordinated control is the fittest strategy to control a boiler-turbine system during the load following mode. The book investigates some theoretical analysis on multi-objective optimization problems, heuristic algorithms, and power plant control techniques. The book has five chapters. Each chapter concludes some insights about simulation programs. The book can be used as a reference for teaching a graduate-level special-topics course in power plants.
