Celebrating Diversity

This book aims to increase the knowledge of different kinds of libraries and organisations throughout the world which cater to the needs of children and young adults, examining their contributions to children's literacy development and community building, in the context of social capital and social inclusion. Despite the international and local variations, there are basic ideas and good practice that all library professionals can follow.
