In its examination of the St. Walburg Abbey, the 2 nd volume of the Germania Sacra presents the diocese of Eichstätt. The author evaluates the historical sources on the cloister, which was re-built by King Ludwig I of Bavaria after the secularization of 1835. The cult of Saint Walburga played a key role in the lives of the Benedictine sisters. The study includes an extensive catalogue of holdings and detailed rosters of the cloister's membership.
