This is the first systematic study of the corpus of Nordic runic manuscripts within and outside Scandinavia in the period from approx. 850 CE to the 20 th century. This includes nearly 300 manuscripts. It aims for completeness, paying particular attention to the graphemic documentation. In addition, the entries are accompanied by detailed literary and cultural scientific commentary.
