This medley of two of John Lennon's most popular songs has been arranged as a tribute to the holiday season. Although the selected songs' timeless message about peace and goodwill towards men is appropriate all year round, it seems especially poignant during the holidays. The ensemble parts have been arranged to capture the essence of these iconic songs, while providing plenty of teaching and learning opportunities about harmony, melody, rhythm, and feel. This arrangement is an excellent choice any time of year; however, it may just become a staple of your holiday concert repertoire.
