Hergé, one of the most famous Belgians in the world, was a comics writer and artist. The internationally successful "Adventures of Tintin" are his most well-known and beloved works. They have been translated into 38 different languages and have inspired such legends as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. He wrote and illustrated for "The Adventures of Tintin" until his death in 1983.

Tintin, Haddock, Milou, Tournesol et les Dupondt sont au nombre des passagers de la fusée lunaire, pour la plus grande aventure que l'homme ait jamais vécue : marcher sur la Lune. Hélas, leurs ennemis ont manoeuvré dans l'ombre, et meme si loin de la Terre, la menace n'a pas disparu, bien au contraire. On a marché sur la Lune clôt le troisieme et dernier diptyque des AVENTURES DE TINTIN.
