Elf mage Frieren and her courageous fellow adventurers have defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the land. But Frieren will long outlive the rest of her former party. How will she come to understand what life means to the people around her?

As the day of the ball arrives, Frieren and her companions are still trying to find a way to thwart the plot to assassinate the great mage Serie. But even knowing the identities of the would-be assassins as well as the time and place they plan to strike, they still haven’t managed to find a surefire way to safeguard Serie’s life. With time running out, will the combined talents of Serie’s mages and Frieren’s party prove enough to stop the Shadow Warriors, or will this night mark the end of a legend?
