The NAACP IMAGE-AWARD NOMINATED SERIES!

The Curlfriends are back and getting ready for their first school dance in this graphic novel series, perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier and The Baby-Sitters Club!

Cara Wilson is always first to the finish line. As the star of her middle school's track team and the only girl out of four siblings, she's learned that if she just moves fast enough, she can overcome any challenge. And when she's not training for her next race or playing video games with her twin brother Conn and his friends, she's hanging out with her besties, the Curlfriends!

But when school-dance posters start popping up in the halls, it's all the Curlfriends can talk about-and for the first time, Cara feels out of sync. She knows Charlie has a crush on Conn (ick!), but now Nola and even Ella are gushing over the boys they want to dance with. Before, it didn't matter that Cara's not that interested in dating. But now, she can't help but worry about being left behind.

Will the dance be a disaster? Or can the Curlfriends help Cara find the confidence to take romance at her own pace?

In the Curlfriends series, follow four inseparable Black girls who always have each other's backs, no matter their differences:
Curlfriends: New in Town
Curlfriends: Back in Business
