Pierre-André Schmitt, geboren 1958, arbeitetet seit über 40 Jahren als Journalist. Von 2017 bis 2023 war er Chefredakteur und Mitinhaber des Uhrenmagazins Watch Around, das zehn Mal im Jahr publiziert wurde. Schmitt schreibt seit über 20 Jahren über Uhren, vor allem für das Schweizer Wirtschaftsmagazin Bilanz. Zuvor war Schmitt Chefredakteur der ältesten Automobilzeitschrift Europas, der Schweizer Automobil-Revue. Ferner war er für das Schweizer News-Magazin Facts als Vize-Chefredakteur tätig.
