Klappentext

One of eleven brothers and sisters born in a poor mining town in Wales, Rees Howells left school at age twelve to work in the local tin mine. Young, ambitious, and motivated by money, Rees soon traveled to America to seek his fortune. But what he found was the Holy Spirit and a calling. A calling that would transform his life, his family, and, ultimately, a world at war. A calling that would cost him everything--yet gain him more than he ever imagined.

From a life marked by poverty and self-interest to one marked by deep faith, radical obedience, and incredible intercessory prayer--and even more incredible miracles--the remarkable journey of Rees Howells is presented with warmth and wit by esteemed biographer Norman Grubb in this beautiful new edition, which includes questions for individual reflection or group study at the end of each chapter.

Come discover the inspiring true story of how God used a humble miner to alter the course of individual lives, whole communities, and even World War II. And how a man transformed by the Spirit can transform history.
