M. M. Sinha is currently working as Professor at the Department of Physics, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal. He obtained his M.Sc. (Physics) from Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur, M.Phil. from University of Delhi, Delhi and Ph. D. from IIT Delhi. Dr. Sinha was post-doctoral fellow at Okayama university of science, Japan during 1998 -1999 and at Chonbuk National University, South Korea during 2002-2003. His current research interests include study of lattice dynamics and thermal properties of pure and mixed crystals, intercalated, superconducting and Superionic materials, structural, electronic and thermal properties of Engineering Materials by applying density functional theory. Nine students have completed their Ph. D degrees under his guidance and two are in progress. He has more than 125 research publications in International Journals of repute. He has organized many national conferences and several short-term courses as well as other science awareness programs. He is a widely travelled person, both within the country and abroad, for his research activities and visited USA, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia. He is a Life Member of many National/ International Professional Societies. He was guest editor of Asian Journal of chemistry (Vol 21, No.10 (2009)) and lead editor of AIP Conference Proceedings (vol. 1675 (2015) and vol. 2352 (2021)) and Journal of Physics: Conf. Series, scheduled to publish in 2023. He has more than 32 years of research and teaching experience.
V.S. Pandey is currently an associate professor at the Department of Applied Sciences, National Institute of Technology, Delhi. He obtained his M. Sc. (Physics) from Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Ph. D. from IIT (BHU) Varanasi. His major areas of research interests include Electromagnetic waves in Plasma and Dielectric media, Dielectric, Resonator Antennas, Graphene Antennas and Filters, MHD waves and flows in space and laboratory systems, Quantum Electrodynamics. He has published 74 papers in respected international journals of repute and 28 papers in different conference proceedings. He has 3 patents to his credit. He is member of Editorial board of Journal MAPAN, Springer, and Guest Editor of MAPAN, Springer, Special Issue Topic: Uncertainty Evaluation by Monte Carlo Simulation and other Approaches, 2019. He is reviewers of the many international Journals. He has guided 04 students for their doctoral thesis while 08 are under progress.
Vinay Sharma is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. He obtained his Master of Technology (Nanotechnology; Minor: Biotechnology Centre for Converging Technologies) from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and Ph.D. in Biosciences & Bio-Medical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Indore (MP). He was Postdoctoral Researcherat University of California Riverside, Riverside, California, United States and Ramanujan Fellow in the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. His major areas of research include an inter-disciplinary Nano biotechnology, nanomaterial-based biosensors, bio imaging, therapies and single molecule & single cell techniques. He was Principal Investigator of DST-SERB Start-up Research Grant and DST-SERB Ramanujan Project Grant at IIT Jammu. He has one patent to his credit. He has published more than 40 research papers in international journals of repute and 03 book chapters on different topics of his research interest.
