Multiple New York Times bestseller Liz Braswell has a degree in Egyptology from Brown University and yes, she can write your name in hieroglyphs. After ten years producing videogames, none of which had to do with Ancient Egypt, Liz left to become a full-time author. She has written popular series like The Nine Lives of Chloe King (turned into a tv show for ABC) and Disney’s Young Adult Twisted Tales, including Part of Your World, As Old as Time, and What Once Was Mine. Her middle grade books include Stuffed and Stuffed: Into Darkness, about how monsters are real and your stuffed animals really do protect you from them. She is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, reviewing science fiction, fantasy, and horror books. When not writing she enjoys making coffee from trees growing in her Brooklyn apartment, brewing her own kombucha, and playing videogames—which is far more relaxing than making them. She writes under the watchful eye of the rare Jareth white outfit Funko POP! figurine who stands on her desk, elegantly brooding.
