**From lauded author Kristen Mai Giang comes a charismatic new chapter-book star reminiscent of Alvin Ho and Dory Fantasmagory who is sure to delight young readers with her infectious humor and relatable gripes. The third book in the Lian Song series!

**Lian Song is longing for an adventure.

Lian wants to spend the last days of summer writing exciting stories in her journal. Instead, she's stuck at home babysitting her cousins Le and Lam. Everybody knows nothing thrilling happens at home. So when Lian discovers their hidden tree fort on the roof of their apartment building, she sees the fort as the key to ending her summer the right way.

As Lian and her cousins build up the fort, they go on super-secret missions, covertly avoiding detection from older cousin Cheng and the rest of the family. But being a part of a super secret society of rule-breakers and adventure-makers isn't all it's cracked up to be. And maybe Le and Lam are hiding more things than they let on...

Through Lian's adventures, Kristen Mai Giang celebrates working-class kids and one family's first-generation Chinese-American experience, striving to make their way with heart, a little elbow grease, and above all-the power of siblings!
