Kelly Kane, MS, RD, LDN, CNSC, is the Director of'Nutrition and Business Operations and Dietetic Internship Director at Tufts Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. She has been a Registered Dietitian for more than 30 years, over which time she has worked in the clinical setting providing medical nutrition therapy for acutely ill adults and children as well as educating patients on ways to improve their health with nutrition. She has taught nutrition to health professionals including dietetic interns, physician assistants, and medical students for over 25 years. She serves as Editor of the quarterly peer-reviewed journal, Topics in Clinical Nutrition. Kelly was been awarded the 2022 Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year by the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, 2022 Outstanding Dietitian of the Year by the Massachusetts Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as 2020 Outstanding Dietetics Educator of the northeast region by Nutrition and Dietetics Educators and Preceptors of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
