Discovering Who God Is Through What Makes God Glad

Christians long to know God. They seek him by studying his words and tracing his works. But there is another pathway into God's wonders--a surprising one. It is not the pathway of God's deeds but his delights. What a person enjoys most deeply shows the deep things of a person's character. So it is with God. What makes God glad reveals more of his glory than most of us ever dreamed.

In this beloved classic, pastor and bestselling author John Piper searches Scripture to uncover the pleasures that delight the heart of God. Each chapter focuses on a specific joy: the glory of his Son, the beauty of creation, the richness of his grace, the prayers of his people, and more.
