The contributors to this volume address three central approaches in biblical interpretation: historical settings, intertextuality, and biblical theology. They trace and reassess the multifaceted aspects relevant to the historical settings of the ancient texts, writers, and worlds; describe the comparative analysis of biblical literature; and highlight theological approaches to the Hebrew Bible.
