Gabriele Arcidiacono is professor in Machine Design and Reliability, Quality and Safety at Marconi University of Rome for the degree course in Industrial Engineering. He was Ph.D. (1997) and Visiting Professor (2000) in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

He has written 7 books and more than 80 papers; he is Scientific Reviewer for some international journals and member of many Scientific Advisory Boards. Since 1995 he has helped to train and deploy Design for Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, Axiomatic Design, Robust Design in Europe, USA, Middle East and South America companies.

Claudio Calabrese is Process & Quality Manager in a multinational company, he is professor assistant in Quality Management Course in University for Economics and Quality Management (MIQ - University of Florence).

He has been coacher and trainer in Lean Six Sigma methodology for many international companies. Kai Yang is professor at the Department of Industrial and System Engineering, Wayne State University in Detroit.
