Max Carlos Ramírez-Soto, BSc, MPH, FRSPH , is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Universidad de San Martín de Porres, Lima, Peru. He has a BSc and completed a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru. He is Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), active membership of numerous professional and academic societies, and is Global Assessor, Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, UK. His research expertise includes evidence synthesis, clinical and epidemiological aspects of fungal infections and infectious diseases. Professor Ramírez-Soto sits on the editorial board for the BMC Medicine, BMC Infectious Diseases, BMC Cancer, Journal of Infection and Public Health, Frontiers in Public Health, Heliyon, and Current Fungal Infection Reports. He is also Academic Editor in PLOS Global Public Health and Journal of Tropical Medicine. He is also a Top Peer Reviewer in Web of Science.
