In the first article, "Artisanal Mining and Its Impact on Children's Education in the City of Kailo," we clearly demonstrated that this activity has a negative impact on children's lives, as many children prefer to go to the mining quarries instead of attending school. This situation has serious consequences for these children's lives, namely: We deemed it necessary to put an end to the presence of children in the mining quarries, and to achieve this, there must be strong awareness-raising efforts on the part of the government, parents, children, and all development stakeholders. Additionally, we must consider establishing a mining police force to monitor the presence of children in the mining quarries. The second article, "The Impact of Artisanal Mining on Agriculture," aimed to demonstrate that agriculture is an essential element in the development of a community; unfortunately, this activity is neglected to the detriment of artisanal mining.
