Statistical Approach to Segment Heart Sounds from Murmurs

Cardiac disorder is the most common disease suffered by the human race which constitutes almost 30% of the global deaths. Detecting these kind of disorders at its preliminary stage, economically is of clinical and technological importance. As auscultation of heart sound is a traditional approach followed by the health care physicians, diagnosing ailments at this stage is very important. A highly uncertain nature of the heart sounds with time has opened a doorway for the researchers to put their hands on this challenging task.
