This book provides an introduction to the chemical, physical and engineering fundamentals of combustion. Different approaches to simulate combustion are described and displayed as versatile addition to experimental investigations to understand fluid mechanics, thermochemistry, and heat transfer. Examples of simulations are presented for various applications.
