Geoffrey Maruyama is Professor and Chair of the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Minnesota, USA. His books include Basics of Structural Equation Modeling (1998) and Research in Educational Settings (with Stanley Deno, 1992). He is a former President and Secretary Treasurer of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI). Carey S. Ryan is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, USA. She is co-author of Data Analysis: A Model Comparison Approach (2nd ed., 2009) with Charles M. Judd and Gary H. McClelland.
