Cold War Fighter Pilots Songbook

The compilation of the book contains not all the songs Fighter Pilots
sung during the Cold War era, but quiet a lot. The sources
were exclusively my collection of unpublished Squadron
Songbooks throughout the english speaking Fighter Pilots
Community. They reflect the sheer emotions, the black
humors of ill fated conflicts and the absence of women
during their deployments. At the time the compilation is
published, most of the songs are already banned from the
Squadrons and O-Clubs and within short time they will be
forgotten as a Social Squadron Part of a special Breed of
Aviators during the 60s trough 90s.

Some songs contain words, which were used only at the bar after some beer.

Autorentext

"Fortuna" flew fighter-bomber aircraft and was an instructor
pilot for almost ten years. He collected "Fighter Pilot
Songs" as recordings (CD, Tapes), and the respective
songbooks throughout his flying career.
