She had a Fellowship in arrhythmology (two years) and echocardiography (two years) at Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium. Also, she has EACVI certification in transthoracic echocardiography (since 2015), being a Fellow of European Society of Cardiology. Professor Floria Mariana is Associate Editor at Echocardiography Journal (official journal of International Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound) and Journal of Clinical Ultrasound: Sonography and other Imaging Techniques (JCU)She has over 137 papers on PubMed related to atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias in patients with cardiac and metabolic comorbidities (Hirsh index: 19). Professor Floria Mariana has a particular interest (but not limited at) in cardiac rhythm disorders (especially atrial fibrillation), cardiovascular imaging (especially echocardiography) and metabolic disease.

Daniela Maria Tanase is an Associate Professor at the Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi, Romania, a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine, and a Clinical Cardiologist at Emergency Clinical Hospital Sf. Spiridon Iasi, Romania. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi, in 2002. She has authored and co-authored several books, book chapters, and medical articles and served as the scientific coordinator of several works, including works written in Romanian and in English. She participates in medical congresses both in the country and abroad, as well as in national and international courses. Her research works (112 publications in Web of Science; H-Index: 18) are related to cardiovascular diseases, cardiovascular complications, atherosclerosis, oxidative stress, inflammatory bowel disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, gut microbiota, dysbiosis, and type 2 diabetes.
