Dr. Abbas Poorhashemi is the President of the Canadian Institute for International Law Expertise (CIFILE) and Editor-in-Chief of the CIFILE Journal of International Law (CJIL). With a Ph.D. from the University of Strasbourg (France) and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from UQAM University (Canada), his expertise spans public international law, international criminal law, and international environmental law.
