Ali Emrouznejad is a Professor and Chair in Business Analytics at Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, UK. His research interests include performance measurement and management, efficiency, productivity analysis, data mining, and big data. He holds an MSc in applied mathematics and earned his Ph.D. in operational research and systems from Warwick Business School, Warwick University, UK. Professor Emrouznejad is actively involved with various academic journals as an editor or editorial board member. Emmanuel Thanassoulis is Professor Emeritus in Management Sciences at Aston University, Birmingham, UK and Oxera Associate, www.oxera.com. He is a world authority on the key method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and its use within the field of efficiency and productivity measurement. He has published numerous papers on DEA in top rated academic journals, has authored Introduction to the Theory and Application of Data Envelopment Analysis: A foundation text with integrated software (Springer), and co-authored 'DEA - The Mathematical Programming Approach to Efficiency Analysis', in The Measurement of Productive Efficiency and Productivity Growth (Oxford University Press). He has served on the Editorial Boards of the European Journal of Operational Research and the Journal of Productivity Analysis, top rated journals for learned publications in the field of efficiency and productivity analysis. He has co-developed DEA Software and has offered advice on efficiency measurement to a variety of UK Government Departments and organisations including the Home Office, the Department for Education and Skills and the Audit Commission.

Mehdi Toloo is an Associate Professor in Business Analytics at Surrey Business School, UK. He also holds a Full Professor position in Systems Engineering and Informatics at the Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Dr. Toloo acts as an area editor for Computers & Industrial Engineering, and he is a member of the editorial board or associate editor to several other journals. He has contributed to numerous international conferences as a chair, keynote speaker, presenter, track/session chair, workshop organizer, and member of the scientific committee.
