Nicolaus Copernicus Gesamtausgabe / Receptio Copernicana

This volume contains commentaries, extensive annotations, and complete translations into German of the edited texts in volume VIII/1 on the reception and spread of Copernican theory in the sixteenth century. Above all the writings on heliocentric cosmology by Georg Joachim Rheticus (1514-1574), the De revolutionibus commentaries of Erasmus Reinhold (1511-1553) and of Nicolaus Mulerius (1564-1630) are translated and commented.
