The volume includes lectures and discussions from the 8 th Symposium on Economy, Criminal Law, Ethics held at the Institute for Law and Finance. The symposium focused on the undetermined factual criteria that are often a feature of commercial criminal law. Based on considerations of comparative law and economics, the participants asked: Does criminal commercial law make deliberate use of such indeterminacy with an eye toward its symbolic effects?
