The legally secure linking of assets with blockchain tokens (tokenization) is a key area of innovation and application for blockchain technology. On the financial markets, this phenomenon appears as Tokenized Finance (ToFi). The contributions in this collection cover not only the technical foundations of tokenization, but also important fundamental issues in German and EU law as well as matters of comparative law covering Singapore, Portugal, Austria, Italy and the USA.
