The subject of didactics is increasingly gaining attention in university teaching. In addition to the discussion about a subject-specific didactics of social work, the challenges of the subject are discussed with students. At the centre of the book is the presentation of teaching concepts for teaching subject-related theories and for reflecting on practical phases, combined with concrete suggestions from experienced university lecturers. The book provides readers with theoretical knowledge in relation to didactic challenges and theoretical knowledge of discipline and profession. In addition, it offers methodological-didactic teaching concepts as a stimulus for the design of concrete courses.
