The Romanistische Arbeitshefte (Romance Studies Workbooks), edited by Georgia Veldre-Gerner and Volker Noll since 2004, have been constant and reliable companions for students of Romance Studies for fifty years. Gerhard Ernst, geb. 1971, studierte Physik und Philosophie in München. Nach seiner Professur in Stuttgart ist er seit 2012 ist er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls I für Philosophie an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Ernst wurde mit dem Wolfgang-Stegmüller-Preis der Gesellschaft für analytische Philosophie ausgezeichnet und war von 2005 - 2010 Mitglied der Jungen Akademie.
