This volume provides commentary on the liability of heirs, claims to inheritance and communities of heirs. The system of liability is presented in overview, and the problematics of the order of preference explained in the context of § 1973. Due consideration is given to contracts for the purchase of inheritance, the acknowledgement of debts, limited liability for heirs, distribution of estates and the transfer of debt with release from liability.
