More than half of all injection molded plastic parts can be produced more cost-effectively and with better tolerances using foam injection molding compared to traditional compact injection molding. Dr.-Ing. Hans Wobbe studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig and received his doctorate in 1984. After several management positions in plastics technology, including in compounding and injection molding, the combination of both technologies was developed under his responsibility at KraussMaffei. As Managing Director at Engel in Austria, his focus was on electric injection molding machines. As an independent management consultant, he has been active for many years at the Yizumi company in China as a board member responsible for strategy, among other roles.
