Auteur
Dr. Heide Schatten is a cell and molecular biologist at University of Missouri-Columbia. She specializes in reproduction and cancers of the reproductive systems. She has been involved as scientist adviser to advocates of Cancer Foundations and as a reviewer and study section leader of several Foundations and she has been a reviewer for the DOD prostate cancer program. She has had Cancer Research support and interacted with a large number of well known prostate cancer researchers including many from NIH Comprehensive Cancer Centers. Her publication record shows over 220 original publications, many of which are focused on cell cycle and cytoskeletal abnormalities that are hallmarks for prostate cancer. She has edited several previous books including (2013) Cell and Molecular Biology of Breast Cancer which has over 19,000 downloads.
