Die Aufnahmen für den Film MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR entstanden an unterschiedlichen Locations auf der ganzen Welt - sowohl auf der Bühne als auch hinter den Kulissen - und enthalten reichlich bisher unveröffentlichtes Material. Der Höhepunkt des Ganzen sind die Aufnahmen von den Shows in der Qudos Bank Arena (früher Allphones Arena) in Sydney, Australien, im März 2016.
