Die sensationelle Pariser Cellistin Camille Thomas meldet sich mit ihrem ersten Crossover-Album "Aznavouriana" zurück, das dem legendären Charles Aznavour anlässlich seines 100. Geburtstages (22. Mai) gewidmet ist. Das Album ist Liebeserklärung an das Werk von Aznavour, dem großen Dichter, der den französischen Pop für immer geprägt hat, begleitet vom Armenian State Symphony Orchestra und Sergey Smbatyan.
Als profilierter Künstler schuf Charles Aznavour ein unvergleichliches Repertoire (51 Alben in französischer Sprache, 42 in Fremdsprachen) und sang auf Bühnen in aller Welt. Ein Teil des Erlöses des Albums wird über die Aznavour-Stiftung an die Flüchtlinge von Berg-Karabach gespendet.
