La "phénoménologie historique" par quatre chemins

This contributed volume investigates "historical phenomenology", by which is meant the contributions of the founding figures of the history of the phenomenological movement as it has unfolded for more than a century. It is divided into four sections. "Historical Phenomenology in Notions", deals with concepts, approaches and interpretations that have been shaped or reshaped by phenomenologists (symbol, deconstruction, appearing, representation, mystery). "Historical Phenomenology in Confrontations", presents phenomenologists critically reading each other (Heidegger/Stein, Heidegger/Jonas, Levinas/Husserl, Henry/Scheler-Husserl-Heidegger, Marion/Heidegger). In "Historical Phenomenology in Situations", phenomenologists confront realities from the social and historical realms broadly construed. In "Historical Phenomenology in Discussions", phenomenologists dialogue with and on the currents of contemporary philosophy (psychology, logics, anthropology, cogntive sciences, realism). This volume appeals to students and researchers across these fields of thought.
