About Joni and Friends
The Mission of Joni and Friends is to communicate the gospel and equip Christ-honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities. Founded by Joni Eareckson Tada, a quadriplegic since 1967, Joni and Friends is committed to advancing disability ministry around the world. The Joni and Friends International Disability Center in Agoura Hills, California, is the hub of this ministry that annually reaches thousands of families by presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ and training, discipling, and mentoring people to use their spiritual gifts.

The Joni and Friends Christian Institute on Disability was established in 2007 to advance the important work of disability education by aggressively promoting a biblical worldview and life-giving truth on issues pertaining to life, dignity, justice, and equality that affect people with disabilities. This is carried out through leadership development, reflection on ethical questions, and advocacy in churches, colleges, and seminaries worldwide.
