This book help researchers to find a connectivity index to see whether the khal is properly connected or not. Again these studies gathers information about Dhaka city khals which can be also used for further study about khal or water body related topics.The authors have faced many problems. First and most important problem faced by authors is that there is an acute shortage of resources and information/data about khals of Dhaka city. All the khals are not under any one institution. Again khal or water body related works or projects are very few which can help the authors to carry out their study.There are 43 khals in Dhaka city and it is very difficult to observe the present conditions, scenario of all the khals with only two persons with limited time period. But, the authors finished their thesis with accepting various limitations.
