This book entitled "Utilization of Communication Sources by the Farmers of India" covers various interpersonal and mass media sources that are available and utilized by the farmers of India. It reflects the detailed study conducted in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir state of India about the awareness, utilization behavior and effectiveness of communication sources as perceived by the farmers. The various problems encountered by farmers in using mass media and interpersonal communication sources are also mentioned in this book.It is well known that the development of agriculture depends upon so many factors and Agricultural information being the important one, should reach to the farmers in right perspective, in right form and in right time for enhancing the farm productivity. The book covers six chapters. The first one deals with the importance, objective and scope of the study. The second chapter provides reviews of different authors about the objectives of the topic. The third chapter deals with the methodology of the study. The next two chapters deals with the result of the study and discussion. The conclusion and recommendations have been presented in the sixth chapter.

Yudhishther Singh Bagal is currently doing Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension and Communication from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology- Jammu, J&K, India. He did his B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture and M.Sc. in SKUAST- Jammu, J&K, India. He was also worked as Senior Research Fellow in SKUAST- Jammu.
