Catholic Social Theory Unwhigged

Autorentext

Tracey Rowland is St John Paul II Chair of Theology at the University of Notre Dame, Australia.

Klappentext

A landmark collection from one of the most important English-language Catholic theologians of our time, bringing together her most important essays on law, politics, and social theory in a single authoritative volume.

This work features 14 essays, including 3 previously unpublished, by Professor Tracey Rowland from the past two decades. Here, she reflects on natural law theory, the relationship between Christology and constitutionalism, the political theology of John Milbank and the political theory of Joseph Ratzinger.

Tying this altogether is Rowland's use of Augustinian and Postmodern Thomism traditions as well as *Communio-*style theology.
