SOPHIE FRINGS never did what everyone else did. In year 11, many went to the USA, Sophie chose Finland for the exchange year, which is why she still speaks fluent Finnish today. When everyone went to university after leaving school, she completed an apprenticeship as a baker in Düsseldorf. At night in a male-dominated environment, she learned one thing above all: quick-wittedness combined with self-confidence. This is exactly what she needed a few years later when, after graduating as an industrial engineer, she advised managing directors in the skilled trades. A quarter-life crisis triggered by her father's cancer paved the way for coaching.
