A Czech-Nepalese child of the final years of the Cold War, Sangita Shresthova grew up between Prague and Kathmandu and since then has called many cities home she currently lives in Los Angeles and works as an Associate Research Professor of Communication at The University of Southern California, USA. As well as publishing books on Bollywood dance and globalisation, youth activism and civic media, she teaches dance and is the mother of a cross-cultural son.
