Information hiding means confidentiality, unauthorized access of the content and unavailability. Steganography is the art and science that hides any information through an appropriate cover carrier like image, text, audio and video. Digital watermarking is a kind of marker, which is covertly embedded in a noise tolerant signal like image, audio and video. It is usually used to identify the ownership of the copyright. Cryptography is the method of converting plaintext to cipher text. Visual cryptography is also one type of cryptographic technique, which allows visual information to be encrypted in such a way that the decryption can be performed by the human visual system without the aid of computers. For secured communication through digital cover media, cascaded implementation of encryption, invisible digital watermarking/ steganography and visual cryptography can make one of the finest levels of security module in the domain of information security. Steganalysis is the skill and science of detecting hidden messages from stego cover medium. It attempts to find more information from stego object, such as type of embedding algorithm, length of the message etc.
