Autorentext

This volume centers the work of Rachel Pollack (Doom Patrol, New Gods, Vertigo Tarot), an award-winning novelist, poet, and acclaimed tarot scholar whose Vertigo run pushed superhero comics into realms of gender, mysticism, and metaphysics.

Artists featured include Richard Case (Doom Patrol), Linda Medley (Justice League International), Ted McKeever (The Extremist, Enginehead), and Scot Eaton (Swamp Thing, X-Men). Their avant-garde layouts and expressive character work bring Pollack’s surreal scripts to life, supported by an elite cover gallery from Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke), Kyle Baker (Plastic Man), and Bob Fingerman (Minimum Wage).
