DESIGNING TOMORROW'S ORGANIZATIONS The super-power of our species is the ability to organize ourselves to pursue a variety of goals. But organizations are also communities of connection, meaning, and shared purpose-the natural habitat of human beings. Balancing the goal-centric and human-centric aspects of organizations has always been hard, but digitalization, and in particular rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, can make it harder. In a book written for anyone who works in or leads organizations of any type or size, Phanish Puranam, a globally recognized expert on organization design, explains how we can navigate the rapid digitalization of organizations in a way that improves their goal-centricity without sacrificing their human centricity.
