This third volume examines key philosophical themes pertaining to core foundational issues of public administration in Italy, including the link to the liberal-democratic constitution, the rationale for the legitimacy of administration action, epistemologies and methods. It also assesses public administration in relation to certain 'mega-trends' which are reshaping society and government at global and European level.
