"Pat" Battle (born December 9, 1959) is an American television journalist at NBC's network affiliate station, WNBC-TV, in New York City, New York.She is WNBC-TV's New Jersey Bureau Reporter; a co-anchor of Weekend Today in New York; and occasional substitute anchor for Today in New York. Battle joined WNBC-TV in 1996 as a general-assignment reporter with a focus on New Jersey. Prior to joining WNBC-TV, she covered New Jersey for WCBS-TV (New York City) as well as WCAU-TV (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), and hosted public affairs programs for the New Jersey Network, a PBS affiliate. However, Battle's journalism career began in print as a reporter for the Asbury Park Press, Asbury Park, New Jersey.
